My mother didn't want me to be any different from
the child next door. He started walking at 10
months of age, and by golly I was going to walk
when I was 10 months old. After that, she never
stopped chasing me. I have always been constantly
in motion and always hear music and therefore the
potential for movement.

My choreography started in my high school
marching band with the flag team and has only
gotten better (at least I hope so, by now someone
would have said something). Visions of routines
can strike anywhere. The beginning for one of the
pieces for our 1999 show was written on the back
of a car repair form before yoga class. Don't ask
me to dress my self though, I leave that up to the
expert --
Kendesh. Without her I would be dancing
in a potato sack.

I never thought, in my wildest dreams, that I
would be part of something like bellydancing. It is
something that brings me joy and happiness and
allows me to express myself in the most unusual
ways.  Try it for yourself, you will be pleasantly
surprised.
